In February 2010, whilst embarking on a solo tour in Australia, Wednesday 13 spoke with Drum Media and told them he was tossing up whether to record another solo album or record another Murderdolls album. He stated that the idea was still in talks, but would be his number one priority if the opportunity arose.

In March 2010, Jordison officially revealed to Kerrang magazine that Murderdolls had officially reunited with him and Wednesday working with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris. Jordison said about the reunion, "It’s been an ongoing conversation between Wednesday and I from 2006 until now. We were bored with everything out there, and thought we had something to piss people off and shake things up. Everything is such a product or a fucking formula these days... Fuck formula! Fuck the norm!"

Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars recorded a guest appearance on the new album, whilst he was recording material for his debut solo album in the same space. On April 15, the band confirmed that they had finished recording their upcoming album Women & Children Last. Joey Jordison has said that he considers Women & Children Last as really the first true Murderdolls album.

As for the new album Women & Children Last, the two main men, Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13, confessed to VerdamMnis Magazine that they consider this new release to be their very first album since this is the first time they "sat down together to write songs and the production is a far better than from 'Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls'. They also revealed to the French magazine that the CD was recorded in a mansion upon the Hollywood Hills which encourage "to create their own sound with no influence from the outside world" since they were secluded.

The album was released on August 31, 2010 through Roadrunner Records. It has gained very positive reviews worldwide.

They are currently promoting the album on the Women & Children Last World Tour in which they will support Guns N' Roses on a handful of European dates, play the main stage at the UK edition of the Ozzfest and will embark on a Halloween tour with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper in which Jordison will be pulling double duty (guitars for Murderdolls, drums for Zombie).

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

On Christmas 2009, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan handed in a demo for a song he had written entitled "Death" and proclaimed, "That's it, that's the last song for this record." Three days later, the Avenged Sevenfold drummer was found in his home, dead from a lethal mix of prescription drugs and alcohol. On Tuesday (27 July 2010), A7X release that record, now called Nightmare, which is not only the last physical recording of The Rev's legacy, but also his tribute.

It all culminates with the final song that The Rev turned in last Christmas, now called, "Fiction." Written before his death, the symphonic epic sends chills to hear the foreshadowing in The Rev's own words, "Left this life to set me free, took a piece of you inside of me. Now this hurt can finally fade, promise me you'll never be afraid." In the ultimate emotional turn, The Rev's own vocals were left in the recording and they are soul crushing as he sings, "I know you'll find your own way when I am not with you." His voice fades out and Shadows picks up his part, and his burden as the one left behind. The song is a masterpiece and the greatest gift The Rev could have left for us.

The album closes with Save Me, a perfect bookend to the album opener. Opening with a discordant instrumental symbolizing the attempted escape from the hour-long Nightmare, the song continues to chronicle the theme of being left behind and the pleas to join The Rev in the afterlife. The realization arrives that the "nightmare" of The Rev's passing may feel like a dream but they will inevitably awake into a reality where he is gone and nothing will bring him back. Although still angry and bitter, Shadows know he must go on alone and begs, "Help me find my way." And though he can't join his friend yet, he knows that they will always be connected as he repeats, "Tonight we all die young," until the album comes to its end.

For better or worse, Nightmare can only be judged in light of the tragic events that preceded it. Because of that, it's hard to critique an album where the listener transcends the musical experience to become a voyeuristic observer of the bands grief and recovery process. But while uncomfortable at times, it is ultimately hopeful, and needs to be recognized as not only an important addition to the A7X discography but also a powerful statement about losing the ones we love and living in the aftermath.

Korn - III : Remember Who You Are

Korn III – Remember Who You Are
is the upcoming ninth studio album by American metal band Korn, which is set for release on July 13, 2010. The band hired Ross Robinson, who produced their first two albums to again act as producer, and drummer Ray Luzier to act as permanent drummer, instead of a live fill-in as he had been previously. The album is being recorded as a four-piece band, using no Pro Tools or editing, unlike Korn's more recent albums. Vocalist Jonathan Davis says the album will be "simple" in that it will not be as multi-layered as Korn's recent albums, but "it's about the vibe".

During the recording process the band referred to the album as Korn III - a reference to the band's early material - later the title of the album was extended to Korn III – Remember Who You Are. Davis explained that meaning of the albums title with: "It comes down to one question: 'Who the fuck am I?' It's about remembering where we came from. The title sums up everything I'm talking about lyrically." Shaffer also commented that "You can lose focus of why you wanted to start playing music in the beginning because you can get caught up in the money and the fame and the traveling. It’s kind of like, ‘OK, let’s hit the reset button." On May 14, the artwork for the album was revealed on Roadrunner Records official website. The photo was taken in Oildale, California.
